A Carnival Fantasy 2015
This event was the start of it all! This was the moment it all clicked and Angel knew exactly what she wanted to do for her young cancer fighter friends. She wanted to give them moments of "normalcy" and "fun." She wanted kids to just be kids, even if only for a few brief hours. What better way to do that than through a big party.
She planned every last detail, from the theme to the games to the decorations and the food. With this first one, she wanted to do a carnival. That was one of her favorite things to do every year -- go to the carnival when it came through town. So, why not bring the carnival to all of her cancer-fighting friends? We had so much fun, and the event was definitely a success. So much, in fact, that she started planning the next one as soon as we cleaned up this one. She was talking about the theme for next year when we got home that night. My girl was never one to slow down and she sure knew how to dream big!!
