Little Bags of Love

Spending holidays in the hospital is never a fun thing, especially for a child. While many might not consider Valentine's Day to be a big holiday for kids, it is day meant to celebrate those who are special to you. It's a day to celebrate love. So, what better holiday to share love with these young cancer warriors than Valentine's Day?

In an effort to do that, Angel's Hope launched the Little Bags of Love project in 2017. We collect toys and other fun goodies to make Valentine's Day bags for the children on the Hematology/Oncology and the Bone Marrow Transplant units at Children's of Alabama in Birmingham. Those bags are delivered on Valentine's Day. 

How can you help?

We need an assortment of items for boys and girls of all ages. Donations must be new; no violent-themed toys, latex, yoyo's, paddle balls, pretend guns or food/candy. 

 We will be accepting donations through Feb. 10. Please email angelshope619@gmail.com to arrange for pick-up of items. Please see below for suggested donations.

In addition, we'd like to include a Valentine's Day fleece blanket with each bag (we need at least 32). We also need large Valentine's Day bags.
